The hair is correct. Everything else….no….
There’s always one person.^
I get tired of people pointing out that a cosplayer’s face is not a replica of the character they’re dressing up as. What’s the point in that? In any case, this wasn’t a dress up so I don’t know what there is to pick atunless you’re just trying to make yourself feel better.I’m more bothered that a few people thought this was Serah. :P
Honestly that’s one of my biggest insecurities as a cosplayer: my face. It’s never going to look the same, especially when the character has such detailed and defined features like in Final Fantasy games (or at least the more recent ones). It’s not fair to judge a cosplayer based on his or her facial features or body type. You look beautiful no matter what and anyone who disagrees needs to see an eye doctor and suck a dick.
That’s the thing, you shouldn’t have to be insecure about it. Cosplaying is about dressing up as a character you admire because everything that he or she represents as a whole—not just their physical appearance. And there shouldn’t be a standard you have to meet.
When something as nerdy as cosplaying becomes a beauty contest you know there is something wrong.
